This is to raise awareness about Tobi’s new erotic documentary project, Doing it Again: In Depth, that aims to display the wide range of trans women’s sexualities. The unique mix of interviews and explicit scenes hopes to achieve a very diversely intimate look at the sexual lives of trans women.

The baseline funding has been achieved but more will be needed to expand the refine the vision, particularly with the creation of a third volume focusing on non-binary/genderqueer individuals.

For those who have not seen Tobi Hill-Meyer is following up her amazing Doing it Ourselves with a new erotic documentary project called Doing it Again: In Depth. More info can be found at the kickstarter page.

The news is that the project has hit the $5,000 mark with the minimum goal being $6,000 in just a couple of weeks of being active! Of course this is fantastic as it means we will realistically see an in depth (in oh so many ways) look at trans woman’s sexuality and the cultural context in which we live and fuck.

However, the $6,000 number is the minimum shoe string budget. The project deserves more to make the vision truly realized. The goal I’m particularly excited about is $15,000, which will mean a third volume focusing on relationships with non-binary individuals as well as genderqueer trans women.

Because of the amazing response so far this seems doable. Please if you can donate, even if it is just a dollar.

I’m looking for trans women and others on a trans female / trans feminine spectrum, as well as their partners and lovers to be in my upcoming documentary.  If you haven’t heard of Doing it Again yet, check out the Kickstarter page for more information.  

If you’re interested, please head on over to the casting call and fill out your responses.  I’m especially looking for straight trans women, trans women with male parnters (cis or trans), trans women of color, people of color in general, and people over 40.  Please re-post and make an extra effort to point it out to any one you know who falls into the above categories.

Tobi Hill-Meyer is following up her intimate look into the sexual live of trans women with a new erotic documentary. The project currently has some preliminary sample content but needs the support of the community to be fully realized.

The goal of $6,000 is the minimum to get this project off the ground, but more will be required for things like music, subtitles, a travel fund for performers, a dedicated assistant editor, and perhaps amazingly a third volume with a specific non-binary/genderqueer perspective! I know the trans* community is systemically not the most well off money-wise to say the least, but there are enough of us that giving even at a low amount is extremely helpful.

Please re-blog this far and wide, trans women’s sexualities need to be reclaimed, told by us and for us.

It’s that time again

We’re back down to 24 posts in the queue, 2 of which are trans women, and 4 of which are nonbinary (anyone that identified also as ftm or trans man was not counted in that number) identified folks. Also, only 3 of those 24 are (visible) POC (because I don’t have tags for trans POC. Should I have a tag for trans POC? Do y’all want a tag? ‘Cause I’ll make a tag if y’all want one). 

So, while everyone who is trans identified and comfortable with their nekkedness being on the interwebs should submit, we’re especially looking for those folks where our numbers are lacking. So please signal boost this to any trans hub sites that you follow, any particularly popular trans folks that you follow, and all of your sexy friends who need an outlet for their sexiness (that means you too!).

No really, please signal boost the shit out of this. It’s finals week and I don’t have the time to trawl for submissions (and everyone needs a little more wank fodder for finals week right?.. no?.. just me?).
